ABOUT V-CHEO

V-CHEO is a support group based in Moreno Valley designed to meet the needs of private homeschooling families through support and encouragement. This goal is first accomplished with God as the center focus of V-CHEO and second with each member sharing his/her talents in serving at parkdays, special events, field trips, etc. .

V-CHEO is a non-profit (though not incorporated as such) volunteer organization. All members work together to support one another through mom's nites out, field trips, parkdays, etc. We are members in cooperation with CHEA of California, and are recognized as a Christian homeschool group. As such, solely Christian members fill all positions of leadership and responsibility. Membership is open to all who privately homeschool their children and desire support. Members of V-CHEO receive a 15% discount off their HSLDA membership.

Statement of Faith

WE BELIEVE:

The Bible is the inspired word of God, the Final Authority in faith and life, and without error in its original writing....

In One God existing from all eternity in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit....

Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of God, and His sacrificial death on the cross for the sins of man, and in His bodily resurrection....

Salvation is a free gift from God, received by personal faith in Jesus Christ, His death, and His resurrection.

Membership

V-CHEO is a support group for private homeschools as a member of the Chea Support Network. This is done through parkdays, field trips, Mom's Nite Out, and special activities. We are unable to accept into membership Charter School members. Charter Schools are part of the public/government school system, not the private schools.

ParkDay Calendar

The first parkday of the month is an organized activity with a theme. We always meet at a park in Moreno Valley.
